Richmond Motor Group MD Michael Nobes says the addition of the MG fleet to his Hyundai, Citroen and DS franchises will firmly establish the company as the South Coast’s premier automotive retailer. Mr Nobes said: “MG’s unique value-for-money proposition combined with Richmond’s legendary customer service ensures all our customers receive the best possible deals and service”.
Mr Nobes was dubbed the King of Cars for selling Hyundai’s in high volume while the recession-hit, car trade struggled. The South-Korean car maker saw its vehicles outselling rival models from Ford and Vauxhall for the first time – with Richmond as the biggest source of UK sales. In 2012, a Citroen dealership in Portsmouth was added to the Richmond Motor Group portfolio and the company has scooped a string of Citroen and DS sales awards.
Mr Nobes said: “Our aim is to be MG’s No1 retail partner”. And given his track record with Hyundai and Citroen, who would bet against him?
